QR Codes- These are machine readable black and white squares which stores information of websites or any URL. useful because it gives you quick access to any website with a quick picture

Navigation bars-  This is a menu bar that can navigate through your website Navigation bars are essential because that's how you navigate the website so you know which part you are looking at -e.g.- "home" "news" "history"- 

Hyperlinks- These can be anything from words to pictures as long as they have a connected URL t them. this is a unique code that you can click on and it will take you to that specific website.

Rollover buttons- This can be buttons that you aim your cursor over and creates an effect that is you can tell if you are hovering over it. These can be very useful as they can it can add dynamic so when you put your cursor over a certain button it can light up or change colour so you know that you are above it and if you click it will click on that.

Drop Down Menus- This is the same as navigation bars but instead of just clicking on that one menu more multiple menus drop down and you can click on them also, this saves space on your website and also looks more clean professional and aesthetic.

Animated Graphics- This is a moving image that is animated that links to the subject. These can add a pleasing view to the website and not make it dull and boring. It can be used as a moving image or a video playing the background.


Colour Theory- Colour theory is the guidance of mixing colour in a specific colour combination. Colour theory is useful when choosing colours for your website so you know which stands out more and what is appealing to an audience. colours have different shades known as 'hues'. there are clean colours and darker colours. Primary colours are Red Blue and Yellow. Colour theory helps designers see what colours look good together. it goes beyond just what the eye can see and actually brings in the science behind it. The colours are not just colours but communicates a massage for the audience.

Visual Communication- This is where you talk to the audience in a graphics sense that they can understand without reading anything but a logical or well known graphic design. These are important to communicate hidden messages to the customers. these can be interesting and contain hidden messages in regard to the company. For example...

Layout- Is the way you lay out your website to make it readable and understandable and not cramped together. This is important to not make the website cramped and make it look none appealing. this can deter an audience and your website wont be used.

Typography- Typography is the technique of arranging written text into a readable and appealing display. This can be used to show the way words are said or how professional you wan it to seem or if it is simple. San serif font is the most common and looks like the normal fonts you would see on posters, commercials and trailers. It also includes script and monospaced. It has a visual hierarchy and gives a graphical balance to the website which sets the tone.
